Chandrapur Bungalow

The end of the monsoon. Black clouds in the sky, a damp smell all around. Five college friends, Arnab, Rahul, Meera, Sayantani and Dev. They had been planning to go on a picnic somewhere for a long time. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, in a quiet place.

Finally, they decided to go to “Chandrapur Bungalow”, located about 70 kilometers from the city. The place is very beautiful, with a large lake, dense forest and the ruins of an old landlord's house. However, various scary stories are also heard about the place.

People say that strange shadows roam around that old landlord's house at night. Some have also claimed that dead souls still roam there.

But after hearing these stories, Rahul laughed and said,

“There is no such thing as ghosts! These are stories made up by the villagers.”

The next morning, they set off in their car.  Green rice fields on both sides of the road, occasional fog and light rain, all together the environment looked great. By noon they reached the forest bungalow. The place was really beautiful. But there was a strange silence around. As if even the birds were afraid to sing.
