Episodes 1

As the Rehavi University wall clock struck five, the entire library suddenly fell silent. At that moment in the afternoon, everything had stopped strangely.

Only time was moving forward on its own. James was sitting quietly in a corner of the library, by the window. His eyes were so indifferent that they seemed to have disappeared somewhere far away.

He wondered, where could Sophia have gone? She was nowhere to be found. What should I do now? He asked himself. The sky outside was covered with thick black clouds. It started to rain with a thumping sound.

The soft sound of that rain mixed with the deep silence of the library to create a strange atmosphere. All the noise of the world had disappeared somewhere far away. Here, only time and memories flowed.

A book lay open on the table in front of him. The pages of the book were slowly turning in the light breeze of the ceiling fan, and the book seemed to be trying to say something in its own language by making a raspy sound.

From the direction of the main road, a woman's sharp scream came. The sound was so terrifying, the quiet atmosphere of the library was shattered. James's eyes went out the window spontaneously.

He was trying to understand what was happening behind the raindrops. But everything was blurry. An uncomfortable feeling with curiosity in his mind. Some invisible force was beckoning him to go out.

The other students in the library could not stand still after hearing the scream. Everyone rushed towards the window together. In an instant, a crowd gathered near the window. James was almost falling under the pressure of that crowd; he controlled himself.

The students were standing around, hugging each other. The smell of their bodies, the hot breath on their faces. All of it made James suffocate. He felt a kind of pressure inside his chest. It was hard to breathe. This crowd was going to kill him. He pushed through the crowd and moved towards the library door.

He came out through the door and stood for a few moments. Then he took a deep breath. The strange sound of the screams from afar still rang in his ears. James took a deep breath. Now he felt a little relieved.

The rain was still falling. The cold wind filled the surroundings with a strange peace. Amidst that peace, some unrest was hovering. Looking ahead, he saw. A huge crowd had gathered on the main road. The red and blue lights of the police cars were flashing.

A few journalists were running around with cameras. All in all, the scene indicated some big event. James's chest began to tremble. A mixed feeling of curiosity and fear. It started to pull him in that direction. He slowly walked past the university gate towards the road.

But his gaze was fixed on the old garden across the road. In the middle of the garden stood. A very old oak tree. The tree, a silent witness, had stored countless stories within itself. James had a strange relationship with this tree.

He walked towards the garden. Strangely, there was a deep silence in the garden; no outside noise could penetrate here. Only the raindrops, the sound of falling leaves, the smell of wet soil, and the light breeze; all together, it was another world. James went to the tree and stood.

He stared at it silently for a while. Then he slowly raised his hand and hugged the tree. He pressed his forehead against it and closed his eyes. The sounds around him, the restlessness, the questions, all slowly began to fade away.

A strange stillness was spreading through his body from inside the tree. He remembered... the moments he had spent with Sophia under this tree. The first meeting, the conversation, the laughter, and the quarrel.

Sophia said, "This tree remembers everything." James smiled and said, "Does the tree remember things again?" Sophia replied, "Maybe not... but we remember." The feelings that had been stored in his chest came out all at once. He could not control himself. He cried loudly.

His chest was pounding. It felt like the pain of love that had been accumulating inside was tearing him apart. His tears were mixing with the raindrops and running down his cheeks. Nature seemed to be his companion in his sorrow. He wiped his eyes with trembling hands and sat at the base of the tree.

Innumerable memories of his life were hidden in the shade of this tree. Laughter, tears, hope, love, everything. The rain started to fall harder. James felt that the restlessness inside him was calming down. His breathing started to slow down. The pain in his chest had subsided. Now a question was on his mind:

Was Sophia really lost? Had she lost herself because of fear and hesitation? James' eyes were still closed. It felt like Sophia's voice was coming from very close. You're looking for me, James; I'm here. James opened his eyes and looked around. There was no one.

Only rain and silence. His mind told him that he was not alone; Sophia was with him. The oak tree stands silently, as if hiding a thousand truths in its silence. And one of those truths is its own truth. It began on a rainy morning…

Episodes 2

James's life is full of memories surrounding this oak tree. Suddenly, he remembered that first day.

The day James first came to join Rehavi University as a professor.

That morning was different. New place, new responsibilities. Everything was unfamiliar. A strange excitement and restlessness was working in his mind.

When he reached the university, he saw that the gate was not yet fully opened. So he came and stood under this oak tree. Exactly where he is sitting today.

James did not notice that the sky had become dark all around. Moreover, the sky could not be seen clearly from behind the leaves of the trees in the garden.

The huge university building stood in front of him. James stared at it steadily. He felt as if he was standing at the entrance to a new chapter in his life. But at the same time, numerous questions were swirling in his mind....

Will he be able to become a good professor?

Will the students accept him easily?

Will he be able to develop a different identity of his own in this new environment?

Question after question seemed to be creating a storm in his mind. He stood quietly and tried to calm himself, taking deep breaths. Just then, a sweet voice came into his ears...

What is this gentleman thinking?

James was startled and looked back. That voice seemed to bring him back to reality. As he turned, he saw a beautiful woman looking at him and smiling softly.

She had an umbrella on her head, wearing a white dress, simple yet beautiful. She seemed to look even more radiant in the cloudy soft light of the sky. Her smile was calm and sincere, and her presence filled the surrounding environment with a strange warmth.

James felt a sweet fragrance wafting from the woman's body. Like the smell of fresh flowers in the morning. That scent and her smile combined to create a feeling that filled James's mind in an instant. All his restlessness seemed to disappear.

For a few moments, James just stared at her. Time seemed to have stopped. The surrounding noise, the patter of raindrops, everything seemed to have moved away. Only that woman and her smile seemed to have become real.

James began to wonder, who was this unknown woman? There was curiosity in her eyes, and a slight mischievous smile was on her lips.

Just then, James noticed that a small smile had unknowingly appeared on his own face. He himself did not realize when that smile had come to his lips.

The woman said again,

What are you thinking about, looking at the university while wet in the rain? And why are you smiling like that?

James felt a little embarrassed. Then he noticed that his clothes were almost completely wet in the rain, and he realized it by now.

He smiled lightly and said,

To be honest, I don't even know what I was thinking. And you asked so many questions at once. I'm thinking about which one to answer first!

There was sincerity in her voice and a slightly unprepared smile. The woman smiled softly and looked at him. There was a strange assurance in that smile. As if she wanted to say, everything will be fine.

At that moment, James realized that some moments in life are very small, very ordinary, but they unknowingly become the most profound memories.

James looked at the woman and said,

My name is James.

He extended his hand that was shaking for a handshake.

Just then, James noticed that the woman was standing with an umbrella above her head. The woman smiled softly and extended her hand to shake his hand, saying in a soft voice,

I am Sophia. I work in the library of this university.

James shook his head a little unpreparedly. The raindrops were still falling on the edge of the umbrella and patting it. In the distance, students were seen running towards the campus to avoid getting wet in the rain.

There was a strange bustle around, and in the midst of it, this little moment of their acquaintance seemed to be completely different.

Sophia asked again,

What did you say you do?

James smiled softly and said,

Today is my first day at the university. I am a professor of history. This university has given me a job to teach history to students.

After a short pause, he said again,

If you give me permission, I would like to come to the library sometimes and read books. I really love reading books.

Sophia was a little surprised and said,

Oh! Is that so? So from now on, I will see you in the library regularly.

James said a little jokingly,

That will only be possible if you give me permission… and if you don't forget me!

Sophia laughed. Her smile stirred a strange stir in James's mind. A tender, unfamiliar feeling. James realized that there was something special hidden somewhere in this ordinary morning.

The two of them stood in silence for a while. All around was the sound of rain, the soft melody of water droplets falling on the leaves of the trees, as if nature itself had become a companion to their silent conversation.

Episodes 3

Sophia said softly,

You are still getting wet… If you want, you can go and sit in the library. My duty time is also over.

James hesitated a little and said,

Then let's go… Can I go with you?

Sophia smiled sweetly and nodded,

Let's go.

The two headed towards the university.

The two of them slowly walked towards the university under the same umbrella. The rain was still pouring down, but James felt as if each drop of it was announcing the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

While walking, James suddenly remembered that he had to go to the office room and report. He stopped and looked at Sofia and said, I have to go to the office room now. See you again later.

Sofia smiled softly, of course. will see James slowly moved towards the office room.

Standing in front of the door took a deep breath, then entered. As soon as he entered, he encountered an unexpected scene. The staff and professors present inside the room applauded him together. For a moment James was completely shocked. He never thought that his first day would begin with such a warm welcome.

The sound of applause, the smile on everyone's face, and the sincere welcome, all in all, his heart was filled with joy. This unfamiliar environment also suddenly started to become its own.

Just then James saw Sophia standing on the side of the room. She was smiling softly. There was joy in his eyes, with an impression of pride. As if he was happy to witness this new beginning of James.

James smiled lightly at Sophia. That smile was filled with a mixture of gratitude and unknown tension. It seemed that this small introduction had become the most precious part of the day for him.

In the midst of so many new faces, new environment, new responsibilities, a strange peace came to James' mind. He felt that today is not just the beginning of a new job, but the beginning of a special chapter in his life.

It is still raining outside, but there is no more discomfort in James' mind. Rather, the sound of that rain seems to deepen his inner joy. He felt that some days in life he came silently, to be remembered forever. And today is just such a day.

With the help of a professor at James University, Rehavi found a middle house very close to the sea at the end of the city.

James liked the house very much, the sea can be seen from the balcony, there is a beautiful flower garden around the house. There is no one in the three clans of James, there has been a man in the orphanage. He has learned a lot of hardships.

Since moving to this house, James began a new routine in his life. Every day, he would wake up before dawn, get ready at a set time, and leave for university.

Upon arriving at the university, the first thing he does is go to the canteen and have a light breakfast, a cup of tea, and a few snacks to give him the energy to get through the day.

Then his main work began. Teaching history to students. History was not just a subject for him, it was his passion, his love. So, standing in class, he would not only give information from the textbook, but would also convey the story, feelings, and impressions of the time behind each event.

James went to the library almost every day after class. Sitting among the huge bookshelves, he would study old history books with deep concentration and take notes. Even though he was immersed in the pages of the book, his mind seemed to be drifting somewhere in an invisible stream.

While sitting in the silent atmosphere of the library, his eyes would unconsciously search for a familiar face, Sophia. Sometimes from a distance, sometimes in passing, and sometimes from behind him, he would see Sophia. It was as if these sightings had become an inevitable part of his day.

At the end of the day, James would return home exhausted. He would eat dinner prepared by his aunt and lie down on the bed. His eyes would be closed, but his mind would be awake. The memories of the whole day would then flash across his mind.

Especially Sophia's smiling face, her soft voice, and the feeling of her presence filled James' mind with a strange obsession. Thus, one night after another began to pass.

Sophia's life was one of struggle from her childhood. She lost her parents at a very young age. Since then, her only refuge was Uncle Stephen's house.

In the beginning, Uncle treated her like his own child, enrolled her in school, helped her with her studies, and sometimes even took her for walks. Little Sophia still believed that this man was everything in her life.

But with time, everything started to change. Between the pressure of work and the frustrations of life, Uncle gradually became addicted to alcohol.

At first occasionally, then almost every day, he would return home drunk. And with that intoxication, his behavior would change. The man he had once loved became rough, angry, and restless.

Episodes 4

maybe it's temporary, everything will be fine. But as the days went on, his situation got worse.

In this way, Sophia began a new life of experience and feelings.

One evening, on a rainy night, Uncle returned home completely intoxicated. As he opened the door, he stumbled. Uncle, be careful… Sophia went ahead and wanted to catch him. He shook his hand and said, there is no need to touch me!

Sophia fell silent. But that day he could not hold the pain accumulated inside him. Why are you doing this to yourself? His throat trembled. You weren't like this before...

Uncle suddenly shouted, would you ask me what I would do? This house, this cost, I run it all! I know that, Sofia said calmly, but I just want you to be healthy… shut up! Uncle got up on the table. I don't need to give advice!

The quarrel that day became very intense. Tears were rolling down Sophia's eyes, but she didn't say anything else. He realized that he would never get this man back.

That night, sitting in his room, he thought for a long time. He remembered those happy days of his childhood, his uncle's loving behavior. But the reality had changed now.

The next morning, when the whole house was silent, Sophia packed her clothes, some books and some old pictures in a small bag. He came to the door and stopped once. His chest became heavy.

Am I doing it right? He asked himself. But then he hardened himself. Yes, I need it to live. He opened the door and came out. towards an uncertain but independent life.

The first few days were very difficult. Finding a place to stay, a job, everything was new and full of challenges. Sometimes he worked in a small cafe, sometimes he taught tuition.

With the help of a principal, I got this job in the university library. I live in a ladies hostel.

Money was tight, but there was one thing, the freedom to make my own decisions.

James spent a year regularly observing the small moments of life with her. During this time, James seemed to get to know Sophia anew, the brightness of her smile, the tenderness of her pride, the depth of her silence, and the sincerity of her love.

James had learned to read Sophia's eyes, as if he could understand her thoughts without words. James himself didn't realize when Sophia had become an integral part of his life.

That day was a little different. An unknown excitement had been working inside James since morning. His chest was pounding for no reason, as if long-held feelings were trying to come out today.

He decided that he would not hold back today, he would say it today. James arrived in front of the library before Sophia. A light breeze was blowing around, the leaves of the trees were swaying in a gentle rhythm, and the soft light of the sun from behind the clouds was creating a calm atmosphere around.

James's eyes kept drifting towards the gate, each moment seeming to lengthen for him.

Then he saw Sophia coming. She looked even more beautiful in her blue and white dress.

Her hair was blowing in the light breeze, and there was that familiar sweet smile on her lips. James's heart rate increased even more at the sight.

Sophia approached and said with a light smile, "What's the matter, Mr. James? Why are you standing here today?"

James was silent for a moment. The words seemed to be getting stuck in his throat. Then, slowly, he gathered his courage and said,

Sofia… I want to tell you something today… I've been thinking about it for a long time, but I couldn't.

Sofia looked at me with surprised eyes and asked,

What?

James's voice trembled. He said, "I can't think straight anymore, Sophia. Your smile, your words, every moment spent with you... everything has become so special to me. I don't know when you took up so much space in my life."

James held his breath as he said those words, looking into Sophia's eyes. Waiting for an answer, hoping for an acknowledgement.

Sophia remained silent for a moment. A strange light shone in her eyes, as if she had many things to say. The silence around her deepened the moment. Her hair was blowing in the light breeze, and in that silence she slowly said...

James… what you said… I've been feeling that for a long time. Not only you… you have become very important in my life.

When I'm with you, everything seems easier, calmer.

He paused and added with a soft smile,

Maybe we were both walking the same path... it was just waiting to be said.

Hearing these words, all the pent-up tension in James' chest seemed to ease in an instant. A deep smile of relief slowly appeared on his face.

The soft light of that day, the light breeze, and the union of two hearts. With everything combined, they stepped into a new life of love.

After that day's confession, it was as if a new morning had begun in James and Sophia's lives. They met every day, talked, and spent time together as before, but everything was different now, as if an invisible warmth lingered in every moment.

Episodes 5

When they suddenly met while walking down the university corridor, they would both burst into laughter. Hidden within that laughter were thousands of unspoken words.

They would sit in a secluded corner of the library between classes and talk, sometimes about the future, sometimes about small dreams, and sometimes for no reason at all.

James paid more attention to Sophia now. He could tell when Sophia was getting quiet, when she was upset, and when she just wanted a little more time. And Sophia.

It was as if she found a strange sense of security when she was with James. James' words, his smile, his presence seemed to make Sophia's day complete.

One afternoon, at the end of the university, the two of them sat by the field. The sun was setting in the sky, a reddish light spreading around. Sophia's hair was blowing in the light breeze, and James was silently looking at her.

What are you looking at like this? Sophia asked with a smile.

James smiled a little and said,

I see you, where have you been all this time?

Sophia smiled softly and lowered her eyes and said,

Maybe I was waiting for the right time…

At that moment, James slowly grabbed Sophia's hand. Sophia was a little startled but did not take her hand away. Instead, he held it a little tighter. With that small touch, their love became more real, deeper, more own.

Now their love is not limited to words, it is part of their daily life. Taking care of small things, suddenly laughing for no reason, sitting silently next to each other. Everything is being built by their new love life.

There are no big promises, no drama in this love. There is only true feeling, trust, and the desire to walk the path together.

And maybe this is the most beautiful aspect of their love, it is simple, but deep. The memories of the old suffering may not have been erased from their lives, but they have learned that light comes after darkness.

Over time, their relationship deepens. They learn to stand by each other, in good times and bad.

One evening, as the sun was setting, James said, "Sophia, I know your past hasn't been easy. But I want our future to be beautiful... and if you want me to be a part of your future."

Sophia's eyes filled with tears. Will you really be by my side?

James took her hand and said, "Always."

After a few days, they decided on a wedding date. There would be no big ceremony, just a few close people, a small house, and lots of love.

Sophia is about to step into a new life, realizing that life is not always the same. No matter how deep the darkness, light awaits somewhere.

Sometimes at night he thinks about the old days. He remembers his uncle. Both good and bad memories. He thinks that maybe one day everything will be okay.

So far, Sophia has never told James about her uncle. Because she didn't want to belittle herself by telling James about her drunk uncle.

Now she is not that scared and helpless girl. Now she is a woman who learns to live by her own decisions. Who knows, through hardships strength is created and love teaches people to live anew.

Over time, their relationship deepened.

They set a date, went to church, and got married.

After the wedding, Sophia quit her job at the library.

James and Sophia's small family was built on love and mutual understanding.

Their days began to be filled with peace, joy, and small moments of happiness. Within a few days, James achieved a major breakthrough in his work. He was promoted to senior professor.

This achievement added new pride and joy to their lives. Sophia was always by James' side, encouraging him, and taking pride in his success.

Their lives continued to move forward in such a happy rhythm that they did not realize how the years passed. The small house seemed to be filled with love, laughter, and sweet memories.

Every morning before James left for university, Sophia would cook for him with her own hands. Standing at the door, she would say with a sweet smile, "Be careful."

James would then smile and reply, "If you're around, there's no way you can be careless!" These little conversations were the true beauty of their relationship, simple, yet profound.

While taking classes at the university, discussing with students, or sitting in the library reading, James' thoughts would repeatedly turn to Sophia. He felt like he wanted to share every moment of the day with her.

On the other hand, Sophia took care of the house with great love. Sometimes she would read books, sometimes she would reminisce about old memories, and in the afternoon she would sit by the window waiting for James to return. There was a kind of sweet happiness in this waiting too.

The smile that would appear on Sophia's face when James returned home in the evening seemed to take away all the fatigue of the day. They would sit together, have tea, tell stories of the day, talk about small incidents, funny memories, or dreams for the future.

Episodes 6

In these simple moments, the greatest joy of their lives lay hidden. One evening, a light breeze was blowing. The sun was casting its last rays of light before setting in the sky.

Sophia was standing on the balcony, looking at the sky. A peaceful atmosphere surrounded her.

A thought suddenly crossed her mind.....

Life is like a story.

With time, all the mistakes, all the imperfections gradually get fixed. And if the right person is by your side, then that story becomes even more beautiful.

Sophia smiled softly. She felt that she was truly lucky to have James by her side in every chapter of her life story.

Just then, James came from behind and stood beside her.

Without saying anything, he gently held Sophia's hand. A thousand emotions seemed to be expressed in that silent touch.

Both of them stared at the sky, no words, just feelings. There was deep love in their silence.

Sofia said softly, "Look, how quickly time flies! It seems like this is the day we first met."

James smiled lightly and held Sophia's hand and said, "Time passes, but my love for you has not diminished at all; on the contrary, it continues to grow day by day."

A strange glimmer of peace appeared in Sophia's eyes. It was as if countless memories, countless feelings, and an unwavering faith were hidden deep within those gazes.

That night was unusually quiet. Silence had descended all around, as if nature itself had fallen asleep. James was fast asleep. Suddenly, a strange sound woke him up.

He opened his eyes and saw Sophia lying next to him, fidgeting. A continuous moaning sound was coming from her mouth, and the sound seemed to shatter the silence of the night.

James didn't understand anything at first. What to do, where to go, who to call. His chest started pounding in panic. He quickly sat up and placed his hand on Sophia's forehead, but he couldn't figure out how to calm her down.

After a few moments, she regained control of herself, picked up the telephone on the front table, and quickly called the nursing home.

James kept calling Sophia's name over and over, trying to calm her down. Sophia... I'm here, don't be afraid... everything will be okay. But the intensity of Sophia's pain didn't seem to be diminishing in any way.

Meanwhile, the ambulance came roaring outside and stopped in front of the gate of the house. A light rain was falling from the sky, and the raindrops seemed to intensify the tension of the night.

Two paramedics rushed in and, understanding the situation, lifted Sophia onto a stretcher. James stood still for a moment, a thousand thoughts racing through his head.

Sitting inside the ambulance, James held Sophia's hand tightly. Fear, anxiety, and a shadow of unknown apprehension were clearly visible in his eyes.

He started praying to God in his heart. Take care of him, please don't let anything happen to him.

The ambulance was speeding towards the nursing home, and the sirens sounded in time with James's heartbeat.

Sometimes Sophia would close her eyes in pain, and James would put his hand on her forehead and say softly, "Sophia, I'm here... have some courage... everything will be okay." But he could tell how much uncertainty there was in his own voice.

After a while, the ambulance pulled up in front of the nursing home. Within moments, Sophia was being carried inside on a stretcher. James ran after them, but as he reached the door, a nurse stopped him. "You wait outside," she said in a calm but firm voice.

The door closed. James stood alone in the corridor. The white walls around him, the eerie silence, and the ticking of the clock, all combined to make it seem as if time had stopped. Every second seemed like an era to him.

He started walking slowly. Every now and then, he stopped and looked at the door, as if everything would be normal once he opened it. He started thinking about their first meeting, the moments they had spent together, the little smiles and the pride. Everything seemed to come together and fill his heart.

He closed his eyes again and prayed. This time more deeply, more sincerely. After about an hour, the door opened. A doctor came out. James walked quickly forward, concern clear in his voice. "Doctor, how is Sophia?"

The doctor smiled lightly. That smile seemed to melt away all the fear and anxiety that had accumulated in James' chest in an instant.

Congratulations, Mr. James, the doctor said, you are going to be a father. This is normal pain, nothing to worry about.

James was stunned for a moment after hearing these words. It was as if he couldn't believe it. This happy news had come true in his life. A new life, a new dream, was about to be added to the path of love that had been going on for so long.

His eyes slowly filled with tears. He couldn't contain the joy, relief, and emotion. He felt like this moment was all he had ever wanted, all he had ever loved.

After a while, he was allowed to approach Sophia. Entering the room, James saw Sophia lying in bed. She looked tired, but there was a strange, peaceful smile on her face.

Episodes 7

As if she had overcome all the pain and moved towards a new light.

James slowly went to his side and sat down and gently grabbed his hand. Sofia opened her eyes and said softly, James… are you here?

A warm smile appeared on James' lips. His eyes were shining with joy. Always, she said softly, and now one more is coming in our lives.

Sophia's eyes sparkled with joy. Despite her fatigue, a smile of satisfaction spread across her face.
That night, James realized something deeply.

The story of life is not just a combination of happiness and sadness, but a continuous flow of love. Within that love lies the beginning of something new, the call for a new life.

And this new beginning teaches people to live more deeply, to hold the hand of their loved ones more tightly. It was still raining lightly outside.

Raindrops were falling with a thumping sound on the windows of the nursing home. It was as if nature itself was rejoicing in the arrival of this new life.

James spent the rest of the night sitting on a chair in the corridor of the nursing home, rushed to Sophia as soon as he got up. Sophia is still sleeping, James comes and sits next to Sophia's bed.

James quietly grabbed Sophia's hand. Fear and restlessness filled his mind a while ago, but now everything is slowly calming down.

Sophia woke up, looked at James with tired eyes and smiled softly. And said to James... you were very scared, right?

James shook his head with a light smile. Yes… very much. But now it seems as if I got the happiest news in the world today.

Sofia closed her eyes and said slowly, James is about to create a small world of ours. Hearing this, James remained silent for a while. Then he gently put his hand on Sofia's forehead.

Their past memories flashed before his eyes. The first sighting under the oak tree, the first love confession in front of the university library.

Those rainy days, gradually deepening towards each other. And today, that love is going to take a new form.

The light in the corridor was fading. It was raining outside, the sound of the rain was playing in a soft tone. James said softly, you know, today it seems that the story of our life is starting anew.

Sofia smiled and said, yes… now another character will be added to our story. James jokingly said, whether it is a boy or a girl, let him be as sweet as you.

Sofia opened her eyes, and was as brave as you. Both remained silent for a while. In the midst of that silence, many dreams of their future began to take shape.

A little child's smile, his first walk, first thing… everything was floating in front of them like a dream. That night, James realized that love is not limited to two people.

Sometimes with the arrival of a new life that love expands, deepens. And waiting for that new life, their hearts were filled with a strange joy and hope.

The sun started entering the house through the window. The rain stopped outside, a quiet silence all around. James didn't sleep all night.

Sometimes looking at Sophia, sometimes looking out the window. There is only one thought in his head. He is going to be a father.

This thought was giving him joy as well as a deep sense of responsibility. He was thinking, can he be a good father? How will she raise her child?

Suddenly he felt that he might not be fully prepared. But love will teach him everything. After some time the nurse came and saw Sofia.

Then the doctor came and checked everything and assured that everything was normal, but Sophia needed rest. James breathed a sigh of relief.

As Sophia sat up slowly, James came forward and helped him. Deep care and love is clearly visible in his eyes. Said to James....

You were awake all night… take some rest, James shook his head with a smile, no, I don't feel tired anymore. It seems that a new energy has come inside me.

Sofia jokingly said, this power will be needed for you very much. James laughed too, I know. There is a lot of work ahead... many dreams have to be fulfilled.

That afternoon James brought Sophia home. The house seemed to be much more than before. As if the walls are waiting for a new life.

Work aunt said... Sophia has to take more care from now on. James carefully put Sophia on the bed.

James said, know, we should prepare now. Sofia laughed and said, why so hurry?

James replied, because I want our house to be filled with love when he comes. You have to create a beautiful room for him. Sofia laughed at James' words.

The days passed slowly. Time was moving at its own pace, but every moment was becoming more valuable to James.

Sophia began to care for her more than ever. After returning from university, he would first sit next to Sophia, look for her, talk.

Sofia sometimes put her hand on her stomach and say softly, listen little man, your father is waiting for you very much.

Horror Story

Episodes 8

From the side, James would smile and say, not only me, we both are waiting. With the passage of time, dreams were getting deeper in their hearts.

One evening the two of them were sitting on the balcony. The red sun was going down in the sky. A calm atmosphere all around. Sophia's hair was blowing in a light breeze.

Sofia said slowly, James, if it's a girl? James smiled and said, then she will be the most beautiful girl in the world.

And if it's a boy? James thought for a while and said, then he will be a good man like his mother.

Sofia smiled and rested her head on James' shoulder. At that moment they both felt that the most beautiful chapter of their life was standing in front.

But life is not always the same. Even in every joy there is some uncertainty of the unknown future hidden. Yet James knew that no matter how many obstacles came, they could handle everything together.

He grabbed Sophia's hand tightly. There is only one belief in his mind. If you have love, no path is difficult. And with that belief they started moving forward.

Towards the new chapter of their life, where love will become wider, deeper with the touch of not only two, but a new life.

James did not want to go to university that day. His mind was strangely restless since dawn.

As if some unknown fear was eating him from inside. Sophia's face, her smile, her speech, her soft eyes were floating in front of her eyes.

Today he has to stay home alone. The work aunt who looked after Sophia every day took leave that day. This little thing also created an unknown worry in James' mind.

Even after reaching the university, James could not control his mind. He entered the classroom and stood in front of the students, but his heart was at home, near Sofia.

While teaching the history chapter, he repeatedly made mistakes. The students looked at him in surprise, but James seemed to notice nothing.

The lack of self-confidence was evident in his voice, and there was an impression of deep thought in his eyes.

Time didn't want to move on. When the holiday bells finally rang, James did not delay for a moment. He hurriedly left the university.

He quickly walked towards the house, as if every step was leading him towards an unknown truth. Reaching the gate of the house, his eyes went to the window as usual.

Every day at this time, Sophia would stand by the window, waiting for him. But today, Sophia wasn't there. The empty window suddenly made his heart feel empty.

James's chest heaved.
He quickly ran inside the house and called out,
Sophia! Sophia!
But there was no response.

He started running from one room to another. Each room was empty, silent. It was as if the house had suddenly become lifeless. Just then, the roar of the clouds was heard outside.

In an instant, the sky turned black. A strong storm began, accompanied by heavy rain. Nature also seemed to reflect its unrest today.

Questions began to swirl in James' mind...
Where did Sophia go? What happened to her?
Uneasy, he sat down in a chair for a moment, but he couldn't sit still.

Just then, a strange sound came to his ears....
Thump... thump...
As if water was falling from somewhere and the window was rattling in the wind.
He noticed that the bathroom door was half open.

The bathroom window was open, letting in an uncomfortable sound. James slowly walked towards the bathroom door. His heart began to pound in his chest.

As he pushed the door and entered, he suddenly settled down. Sophia is lying on the floor, wet with blood, frozen, unconscious. For a moment James seemed to understand nothing. The scene in front of his eyes seemed unbelievable.

Sophia is lying on the floor of the cold bathroom, blood is spread all around. Outside the storm rampage, the sound of the window shivering, and this terrible silence inside.

All in all, the moment turned into a nightmare.
His body began to tremble. Slowly, he knelt down beside Sophia.

With trembling hands, he called out softly, "Sophia… can you hear me?" But there was no response.

At that moment, James realized. Standing next to the most beautiful dream of his life was a deep, unknown fear.
Sophia…! Sophia…!

The panic in his voice was clear. Every word seemed to be torn from his chest. He quickly lifted Sophia's head into his lap.

His face is pale, his lips are pale, his eyes are closed. His breathing is so weak that it is difficult to understand.
Open your eyes… I am here… Nothing will happen to you…

James whispered, but his own voice was shaking. There was a heavy storm outside. Flashes of lightning occasionally lit up the room and then plunged it into darkness again.

In that momentary light, Sophia's frozen face looked even more terrifying. Suddenly, James thought he couldn't sit like this.

A second's delay would mean increased danger. He stood up quickly and ran towards the telephone on the table. His hands were shaking so much that it was difficult to even dial the number.

Episodes 9

I made several mistakes and had to start over. Finally, I got a connection. He almost shouted into the phone,
Hello! Please send an ambulance quickly...
My wife has fallen in the bathroom... She is bleeding a lot... Please come quickly!

After giving the necessary information, he put down the phone and ran back to Sofia. The storm and rain outside were still intense, but it was as if all sounds had stopped in his ears.

There was only silence around, and in that silence, Sophia's faint breathing. He held Sophia's cold hand tightly in his own.

I'm here… you can't leave me…
His throat felt heavy, but he was trying to hold himself together.

Time seemed to have stopped. Every second seemed unbearably long. Suddenly, a familiar sound came from afar, the siren of an ambulance.

Faint at first, then gradually stronger. Even amidst the sounds of the storm, it became the only light of hope.
And be patient… the ambulance is coming…
James said, patting Sophia’s forehead.

In a moment, the sound of a car stopping in front of the gate was heard. There was the sound of hurried footsteps at the door. Two medical workers rushed in with a stretcher.
Where is the patient?

James led them to the bathroom without a word.
They quickly lifted Sophia onto the stretcher. One checked her pulse, the other tried to stop the bleeding with a bandage.

The pulse is very weak… we need to take it quickly, one said.
Yes, we can't delay, the other agreed.
These words struck James like a thunderbolt in his chest.

They quickly took Sophia outside. James ran after them. The storm was still raging outside.
The ambulance door was open.

Inside was a bright white light. Sophia was carried inside. James climbed in without a moment's hesitation.
The door closed. The siren blared again, louder this time.

The ambulance sped forward across the dark, wet road. The red lights were flashing, illuminating the surroundings. James was sitting there, holding Sophia's hand tightly.

His eyes are wet.
You'll be fine…
He keeps saying it.
The medical staff are quickly performing first aid, controlling the bleeding, checking for breathing.

Finally, the ambulance stopped in front of the nursing home. The door opened, and light poured in. Sophia was quickly taken inside.

James also ran after them. The corridor lights were flashing, there was activity all around. The stretcher was taken straight to the operation theater.

James stopped in front of the door. He glanced at Sophia before entering. His chest twisted.

Then the door closed.
And James stood...
in waiting,
in uncertainty,
and in a silent prayer.

Outside, there was a heavy storm and rain. The sky seemed to be falling apart, the surroundings were illuminated momentarily by flashes of lightning and then plunged into darkness again.

The storm seemed to be raging not only in nature, but also in James's mind. The doctors and nurses were quickly taking Sophia to the operating theater.

The sound of the stretcher wheels echoed through the corridor. A nurse reached the door and raised her hand to stop James.
You wait outside.

Saying this, they went inside. The door of the operation theater slowly closed, and a red light flashed over it.

It was as if that light had created a strange fear in James's chest. He sat down in a corner of the corridor. A deep silence around.

Just the ticking sound of the clock hanging on the wall. Every word seemed to break his patience even more. Sophia's face was repeatedly floating in James's mind.

His sweet smile, tender voice, small pride, and countless moments they spent together. Every memory was hitting the heart.

He silently folded his hands and prayed.... O God, heal my Sophia… Don't take him away from me.

Time had stopped. The minutes seemed like an hour long. There was restlessness, fear and unknown fear in his chest.

When he closed his eyes, he could see Sophia's smiling face. Suddenly, the door to the operating theater opened. A doctor came out.

James stood up quickly.
Doctor… How is Sophia? His voice trembled.
The doctor stared at her for a few moments. The silence seemed to last forever.

Finally he said, "Who are you, lady?" I am James... Sophia's husband. How is she, doctor?

The doctor sighed.
We did our best. The treatment was timely, so Sophia is now out of danger.

However, he has lost a lot of blood from his body, he will have to be kept under observation for a few days.
After a short pause, he said again.....

But… sadly, we couldn't save the baby. And… Sophia will never be able to be a mother again.

As soon as the words ended, James's surroundings went dark. He felt like the world had stopped. He felt a sharp pain in his chest.

He stood silently for a while. As if the words were not reaching his ears. Then he slowly sat down on the chair next to him. He covered his face with both hands. Tears silently rolled down the corners of his eyes.

The doctor said softly, I understand it is a very difficult time. But now the most important thing is your wife. You have to stay strong.

Episodes 10

James slowly raised his head. The eyes are red, but some kind of firmness has started to accumulate inside. Can I see him? Yes, but don't talk too much.

After a while a nurse took him to the isolation ward. Sophia is lying on the other side of the glass door. Face pale, saline needles in hand.

James slowly stood beside him. He gently took his hand in his hand. Sophia's eyelids trembled. Slowly he opened his eyes.

A soft smile spread across his lips as he saw James in front of him.
James whispered,
Everything will be okay… I'm here.

Tears welled up in Sophia's eyes, but a little peace also emerged. After a while, she lost consciousness again. James's chest trembled again.

But the doctors assured her that it was normal.
After about three hours, Sophia regained consciousness.
James… where am I? She said in a tired voice.

James patted her forehead.
You're safe… don't worry.
Sophia looked around, confused, "What happened to me?"

James was silent for a moment. Then he said in a calm voice,
Everything will be okay.
The night gradually deepened. The lights in the corridor were dim, and there was silence all around. Occasionally, the sound of machines and the footsteps of nurses.

James was sitting next to Sophia, holding her hand.
After a while, Sophia opened her eyes and looked up.
James… were you crying?

James smiled lightly,
No… I'm fine. How are you?
Sophia was silent for a moment. Then she slowly placed her hand on her stomach.

A question flashed in his eyes.
James… Where is my baby?
James's chest heaved again at the question. He kept his head down.

Sophia understood everything. Her lips trembled.
What happened to our baby…?
James' eyes filled with tears. He held Sophia's hand tightly and said...

The doctors tried so hard… but… they couldn’t save our baby.
Hearing that, Sophia broke down.
My baby… I didn’t even get to see him…

He cried and cried. James pulled him to his chest. Don't blame yourself… it's not your fault. You are alive, that is the most important thing.

Sophia cried, "How many dreams we had... James kissed her forehead." The dream is not over… we will start again.

Sophia's crying stopped slowly. His eyes closed in exhaustion. James sat quietly, holding his hand tightly. The morning light started to shine outside the window. The darkness is slowly disappearing.

James realized that life is sometimes cruel, but still hope is not completely extinguished. They have lost their child. An irreparable emptiness. But Sophia is alive. That is his world now.

He promised himself....
From now on, he would be stronger. He would be by Sofia's side, surround her with love, and slowly rebuild their broken life.

The morning light began to enter the house. A new day began. And with that light, a new chapter began in the lives of James and Sophia, where there was sadness, but also love, patience, and the courage to live again.

A few days later, James brought Sophia home from the nursing home. There was a strange peace and the smell of new life floating around the house.

After a long hardship, this return was not only to return home, it was a return to life. Sophia slowly started to return to her normal life.

At first, walking slowly, then talking a little, everything seemed like learning anew to him. This whole time James did not leave Sophia's side even for a moment.

She stood by Sophia not only as a husband but also as a friend, a fellow traveler. The greatest sorrow of their lives.

The death of their child, it was right that they broke them, but through that break they found each other deeper.

In the small moments of life, they started to find joy again. Having tea together in the morning, sitting on the balcony in the afternoon talking, or quietly next to each other.

These simple moments became extraordinary for them. They realized that no matter how difficult life is, if there is love, the light returns right.

Within a few months, Sofia was completely cured. One afternoon they were sitting on the balcony of the house. James took Sophia's hand and said, "We'll start again, right?" Sofia smiled softly and nodded.

There was no longer the broken look in his eyes, but there was a kind of stillness and deep love. But even though everything in the house was the same, time still stopped in one place.

their little baby's house. The house is still the same as before. Small beds, toys, soft sheets, everything is there, but there is no pulse of life.

Sophia could never open the door of that room. He used to stand in front of the door, but did not dare to enter. That house became a reflection of his own emptiness.

James understood everything. He never insisted, never asked questions. He just stayed by the side. Sometimes holding Sophia's hand, sometimes holding her hand on her shoulder, her presence was the greatest comfort.

One afternoon it was raining. The sky is covered with clouds, a kind of sadness in the air. Sofia was sitting by the window and looking outside. The old pain has returned to his eyes.

Episodes 11

James slowly came over and sat down next to her and asked, "What are you thinking?" Sophia smiled a little and said, "I'm thinking... if we had a baby, maybe I would be sitting there with him in my arms today."

His voice trembled. James was silent for a moment, then gently took her hand and said, "Life doesn't give us everything... but it always finds a way to give us something new."

Sophia looked at him in surprise. James paused and said, can't we do something that will bring light to someone else's life? Can't we take an orphan child as our own?

Hearing the proposal, Sofia fell silent. A shadow of fear, hesitation and hope was playing in his eyes together. After a while he said slowly, do you really want it?

James smiled softly, I just want you to smile again. This is what touched Sophia's heart. He slowly put his head on James' shoulder. If you are by my side… I can live again, she whispered.

After that day a new decision started in their lives. They went to an orphanage and decided to adopt a small child from there.

The child was very young, scared and silent. There was an unknown fear in his eyes, as if his trust in the world was not yet formed.

Sophia pulled the baby to her chest at first sight. The love that accumulated in his chest woke up in a moment. They named the child Aryan.

The first few days were not easy. Aryan did not talk much, did not come to anyone easily. But James and Sofia continued to love him patiently.

Slowly Aryan started to adapt to them. One day Aryan was holding James' finger tight for the first time. James' eyes filled with tears at that little touch.

Another day she fell asleep with her head on Sophia's lap, at that moment Sofia felt that the emptiness of her life was no longer the same.

The days started to change slowly. Arian's smile in the morning, going to the park with him in the afternoon, sleeping by telling stories at night.

These small moments brought a new light to their lives. Six months passed. The atmosphere of the house has completely changed. That empty room is no longer empty.

There are the sound of laughter, the sound of toys, the sound of small feet, all together as if the new tone of life has been played. One evening Sofia was sitting by the window watching Aryan playing.

Playing with the ground in small hands, sometimes laughing. Hearing that smile brought tears to Sophia's eyes, but it was no longer sad, it was a joy.

He looked at James and said, do you see? We were able to bring a life to happiness.

James smiled softly, sometimes the easiest way to find one's own happiness is to make someone else happy.

Sophia held her hand tightly. Their eyes fell in their eyes. There is no emptiness there, there is only peace, love and a promise of a new life.

The house that was once a symbol of their suffering, today that house has become the center of their happiness. they have understood.

Life never stops. Suffering comes, gets lost, but if there is love, people can start anew.

After the dark night of their lives, finally dawn has come. And in the light of that dawn, they have learned that pain will come, but if there is love, that pain will return as light one day.

This is how the life of James and Sophia was painted in new colors, where the pain of the past became a memory, and the present was filled with love, the light of hope and the innocent smile of a little child.

a quiet afternoon. The silence is all around, as if time itself is resting for a while. Suddenly there was a knock on the door in the silence. The word is not very loud but unusually clear.

Like the coming message of some unknown news. Sophia was a little startled. A slight tremor started in his chest, because a kind of discomfort was born in his mind due to unknown reasons.

He slowly walked towards the door and opened the door. When he opened the door, he saw some strangers standing outside. There is a kind of seriousness on their faces, strange doubts in their eyes.

They were accompanied by a worker of the orphanage, whom Sofia had seen before. That familiar face also seemed unfamiliar today. Sophia's heart started pounding.

He realized that something was about to happen. Something that could break the calm rhythm of their lives. The people came in and sat down. The air in the room suddenly became heavy.

They asked James to call him. Sofia informed James on the phone without saying anything. James came back from office in a hurry, worrying on his face as well.

After everyone sat down, the workers of the orphanage started talking slowly. There was an impression of sympathy in his voice, but the words were difficult.

Aryan's real parents are back, she said. They realized their mistake. Now they want to get their child back.

Episodes 12

The words struck like a thunderbolt. James was stunned for a moment. His mouth was dry, his eyes were full of surprise and disbelief.

He could not believe that something could happen. After a few seconds of silence, he said slowly,

But now he is our child. We have been growing him for six months, we love him. How do we leave him?

Sofia was standing next to him and listening to everything. His chest groaned. It's like someone has grabbed his heart.

The worker of the orphanage said in a calm voice, we understand your suffering. But according to the law, if the child's biological parents want him back, then their rights are first.

After hearing these words, Sophia could no longer hold herself. Tears started pouring from his eyes. He suddenly screamed,

And my child! I can't live without him! The atmosphere of the house was filled with emotion in an instant. James fell into a difficult dilemma.

On the one hand his wife's unlimited love, on the other hand harsh reality and law. He understood that there was no easy way out of this situation.

He calmly tried to settle the matter, but the situation was getting out of his hands. For the next few days, a new chapter of turmoil began in their house.

Sophia could not accept the matter in any way. He used to hold Aryan on his chest all the time, as if someone would come to snatch him. There was always fear and fear in his eyes.

James repeatedly tried to convince him. We have to think about his future, he used to say in a soft voice. Maybe his real parents can now really keep him well.

But these arguments were of no value to Sophia. To him, Aryan was the reason for his whole world, his breath, his survival.

One day the situation suddenly reached its peak. The people of the orphanage appeared with the police. They had all the legal documents in their hands.

James realized that there was nothing to do. Sofia gripped Aryan tightly. Tears are falling from his eyes, his voice is breaking.

No! I won't give my son! No one can take him away! Her screams shook the whole house.
The police slowly approached.

They tried to handle the situation. James watched everything with helpless eyes. He was also breaking down inside, but he tried to keep himself strong.
He reached out and took Sophia's hand.

Please, control yourself, she said. This is out of our control.
Finally, with great difficulty, Aryan was separated from Sophia. The child also started crying.

There was fear, confusion, and a strange longing in that cry. As if she knew something terrible was happening.
The sound of that cry tore James and Sophia's hearts apart.

The door closed.
The house suddenly fell silent. A terrible, heavy silence.

After Ariane left, Sofia was completely broken. He stopped eating and drinking, he stopped talking.

He used to lie in bed all day, empty eyes in his eyes, as if all the lights of life were extinguished. Within a few days he fell ill.

James took him to the doctor, tried to take medicine, but the emptiness in Sophia's mind was not filled with any medicine.

He kept saying the same thing over and over again, where is my son? give him back James himself was breaking down inside.

He also had no less love for Aryan. But he knew that if he broke up, there would be no one to handle Sofia.

Night after night he used to sit next to Sophia. He tried to convince him, tried to give him courage. We'll try again, he would say in a soft voice.

Maybe we can bring another child into our lives.
But Sophia's answer would have been the same....
There will be no one like Aryan.

Time slowly moved forward. Days passed, nights came, but the wounds of their lives seemed to remain in the same place.
James realized that this pain could not be healed by logic alone. It was a matter of time.

With love, patience and care, Sophia has to be slowly brought back from this darkness. She slowly started to engage Sophia in small tasks.

The old pictures were shown, where their happy moments were captured. He used to take him out for a walk, to the park, by the sea, or just walk on the road.

At first, Sophia had no interest. Everything seemed meaningless to him. But James didn't give up. One evening, after a long time, Sofia was standing on the balcony watching the sunset.

The sky was a reddish-orange color, strangely beautiful, but amidst that beauty there was a kind of sadness. James came and stood beside her. Both of them were silent for a while.

Then Sophia said slowly, "Will he remember us?" James' eyes filled with tears.

But he tried to smile.
Maybe he will, maybe not, he said. But he will never lose the love we gave him.

Sophia didn't say anything. A tear fell from his eyes. That water was not only sad but mixed with it was an attempt to accept it slowly.

From that moment, maybe the accumulated ice inside him started to melt little by little. Life never stops.

Episodes 13

There is pain, there is memory, there is emptiness, but time takes everything forward in its own way. And while moving forward, people gradually learn to live again.

Within a few days, Sophia began to slowly control herself. Looking outside, he seemed very normal.

He used to do housework as before, sometimes read books, or sit quietly on the balcony. But behind his naturalness there was a deep emptiness, which no one could easily understand.

On the other hand, a strange pain was still building inside James. The doctors' harsh words echoed in his mind over and over again: Sophia would never be able to be a mother again.

This truth had etched itself on James' heart as if it were permanent. He tried to convince himself that time would heal everything, that perhaps this sorrow would one day fade away. But the reality was different.

Every day reminded him anew of that imperfection. James thought, maybe if they adopted another orphan, a new light could come into their lives.

A child's smile might bring life back to their lives, and the lost joy would shine on Sophia's face.

But when he put this proposal in front of Sophia, Sophia absolutely did not agree. Sophia felt that the emptiness inside her was so deep that she no longer had the mental strength to take on someone else's child as her own.

James has repeatedly tried. Sometimes he wanted to convince him very calmly, sometimes he sat next to him with very tender affection, and sometimes he wanted to show him the light of hope by drawing small dreams of the future.

We could start again. But every time Sophia remained silent. Her silence was heavier than words.

Sometimes he was standing by the window looking at the distant sky. Even if he tried to hide the water that had accumulated in his eyes, James could understand it. Still, he couldn't say anything.

Gradually the atmosphere of their house started to change. A house that was once full of laughter and joy, now a strange silence has descended. There were no more stories, murders, or small happy moments like before.

Even under the same roof, they seemed to be moving far away from each other. They used to talk, but only in the limits of necessity.

Misunderstandings started forming even on small matters. Although there was never any major quarrel, but there was no accusation, suffering and despair. This silent suffering gradually deteriorated their relationship from within.

The nights were the hardest for James. He would lie in bed and stare at Sophia. The person who had been so close to him now seemed so far away.

Sophia is the same as before, her face, her habits, her presence, all the same, yet it seems like everything has changed.

Sophia was also experiencing a deep inner conflict. She began to blame herself. She wondered if her inability was the reason for James's shortcomings.

This guilt began to grip him even more.
Despite this silent pain, life did not stop. Days passed, time moved forward, but their relationship seemed to have settled into a strange state.

From the outside, they are still husband and wife. They live in the same house, eat at the same table, but a vast ocean of distance has formed in their hearts.

One evening, this silence seemed to become more pronounced. James was sitting in the drawing room, his head bowed. Sophia was standing by the window, looking up at the sky. Silence all around.

It was as if time had stopped. James wanted to say something. There were so many things on his mind. But the words seemed to get stuck in his throat. He remained silent. Sophia didn't say anything either.

That night, they slept under the same roof, but an invisible wall stood between them. Yet, the same question was on both their minds.

Is their love really over? Or is it just this pain that is keeping them apart? A few weeks passed like this.

They seemed to be strangers to each other even though they lived in the same house. Their conversations decreased, and even the little they did talk about had a kind of coldness to it.

Every sentence seemed to be carefully spoken, every smile forced. James was trying, Sophia was trying, but the pain in their hearts seemed to come back again and again like an endless cycle.

Finally, the day had come. The day of judgment.
Both knew that this was a turning point in their lives. This was where their paths would either part, or something new would begin.

But even within that possibility, a deep uncertainty was at work. Sitting in the courtroom chair, James felt his hands shaking. He felt as if he was about to lose something most important in his life.

Sophia sat quietly. There was no expression on her face, but there was a strange peace in her eyes.

Maybe a kind of tired peace after a long mental struggle. At that moment, James suddenly felt that, after everything, the love for Sophia still remained in his heart.

It may not be as excited as it used to be, but silently, deeply alive. Sophia felt the same feeling.

Despite all the pain, the pride, and the distance, the moments they spent together never faded. It was those memories that gave him strength.

Episodes 14

They looked at each other once before entering the courtroom. Nothing was said. But a lot was said in the language of those eyes

A silent acknowledgement of pride, love, gratitude, and farewell. At the end of the day, they walked side by side as they descended the steps of the courthouse.

The cold wind was blowing outside. The people around them were busy with their own lives, but for them, that moment was completely different.

They both knew their future was uncertain. Yet, they felt that this long and painful journey had taught them something.

They may not be able to be together, but they have learned to understand each other. Their lives have never been the same. But they have understood.

Love is never completely lost. It just changes form. Sometimes it becomes silent, sometimes it lives in memories, and sometimes it returns as a kind of warmth even in the midst of suffering.

They understood that true love is not just about being together. It is about patience, understanding, and accepting each other over time.

Yet, in the end, they decided not to pursue their relationship any further. The court date was set, and that day would mark the end of a chapter in their lives. But that love story remained silent deep in their hearts.

The morning was strangely calm. The sky was covered in light white clouds, the sunlight was not very bright, everything seemed to be trapped in an unfamiliar stillness.

There was a heavy feeling in the air, invisible but deeply felt. James was slowly getting ready on this silent morning.

Even when he stood in front of the mirror and looked at himself, it was as if he couldn't see himself. There was a distant thought in his eyes, a shadow of the past.

Sophia was also preparing silently. Even within the same house, an invisible wall had formed between them.

No one wanted to look at anyone else, as if the moment they met, all restraint would break, and pent-up emotions would surface. In that wordless preparation, there were thousands of unspoken words.

Even after they got into the car, the silence didn't leave them. The trees standing by the road were receding one by one, just as the beautiful moments of their lives were receding.

As they looked out the car window, memories flooded back to both of them. The first meeting, the first smile, the first handshake, and countless happy days spent together.

Everything seems blurry now, yet those memories are still clear deep in their hearts. What once were the foundation of their lives, today seem to have become the cause of suffering.

The car stopped in front of the courthouse. Both of them sat in silence for a while, as if neither wanted to get out first. Finally, they got out silently and entered.

Everything in the courtroom was proceeding according to the rules. Cool, orderly, and emotionless. The papers, the signatures, the process. Everything seemed to be working mechanically. But amidst this mechanicalness, a restless storm was raging inside James's heart.

Finally the moment came. Time for the signature. Sophia's hand trembled as she picked up the pen that was on the table. There was a strange hesitation, restlessness, and deep sadness in her eyes. James looked at her, the same feeling reflected in his eyes.

Sophia said slowly, very slowly, "James… will everything end so easily?" The question seemed to hang in the air. James stared at her silently for a moment.

Which words should be said, which should not. He seemed unable to decide. Then he said in a low voice,
It was all over a long time ago, Sofia… We are just writing it down on paper.

As soon as the words were finished, Sophia's eyes filled with tears. For a moment, time seemed to stand still. The pen fell from her hand onto the paper.

A signature, just a signature, would separate their paths forever. In that moment, they both realized that love was still alive somewhere, but reality was separating them.

That love was no longer strong enough to hold them together. Without another word, Sophia stood up and slowly walked out of the courtroom. The door closed silently behind her. She left without signing.

A strange silence fell over the room. James stared at the papers on the table. His eyes seemed to be fixed there. He didn't seem to notice when Sophia left.

The lawyer said slowly, "Mr. James, if you sign, the process will be easier." But James seemed not to be listening.

Sophia's face flashed before his eyes, their first meeting, that smile, the rainy university days, the small moments of joy.

He stopped as he picked up the pen and brought it to the paper. Suddenly he said, "Where is Sophia?" The lawyer looked a little surprised and said, "She left without signing."

The words struck him like a bolt of lightning. James looked around, Sophia was gone.
His chest suddenly felt empty.
He stood up slowly. He took the paper from the table and quickly left the courtroom.

He stepped out into the corridor and looked around. Desperately, he searched for Sophia in the crowd of people.
