There is pain, there is memory, there is emptiness, but time takes everything forward in its own way. And while moving forward, people gradually learn to live again.

Within a few days, Sophia began to slowly control herself. Looking outside, he seemed very normal.

He used to do housework as before, sometimes read books, or sit quietly on the balcony. But behind his naturalness there was a deep emptiness, which no one could easily understand.

On the other hand, a strange pain was still building inside James. The doctors' harsh words echoed in his mind over and over again: Sophia would never be able to be a mother again.

This truth had etched itself on James' heart as if it were permanent. He tried to convince himself that time would heal everything, that perhaps this sorrow would one day fade away. But the reality was different.
