When they suddenly met while walking down the university corridor, they would both burst into laughter. Hidden within that laughter were thousands of unspoken words.

They would sit in a secluded corner of the library between classes and talk, sometimes about the future, sometimes about small dreams, and sometimes for no reason at all.

James paid more attention to Sophia now. He could tell when Sophia was getting quiet, when she was upset, and when she just wanted a little more time. And Sophia.

It was as if she found a strange sense of security when she was with James. James' words, his smile, his presence seemed to make Sophia's day complete.

One afternoon, at the end of the university, the two of them sat by the field. The sun was setting in the sky, a reddish light spreading around. Sophia's hair was blowing in the light breeze, and James was silently looking at her.
